Matt Paul

Matt Paul grew up in the Oxford Circle section of Northeast Philadelphia, where the game found him early. He attended St. Martin of Tours — at the time, the largest Catholic grade school in Philadelphia — and came up through a basketball culture built on competition, character, and community. Those roots shape everything Matt Paul Basketball stands for today.

For more than 22 years, Matt has been a fixture in the Philadelphia basketball ecosystem, coaching boys and girls across every level from grade school through high school. He is a Gold Medal Certified USA Basketball Coach, the founder of the Oreland Summer League, and the founder of the Point Guard & Leadership Camp at Saint Philip Neri. As Executive Director of the Power Forward Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, he leads the mission of making youth basketball accessible to every family — using the game as a vehicle for development, opportunity, and life skills through the "Game Within" curriculum.

Matt Paul Basketball is the natural extension of that work: four programs — MP Academy, MP Summer League, MP AAU, and MP Fall Outdoor League — all built on one promise.

Finley Paul

Finley Paul brings a player's eye and a leader's instincts to the Matt Paul Basketball brand. A sophomore at Springside Chestnut Hill Academy, Finley serves as a class officer and competes as a tri-varsity athlete, balancing the demands of academics, leadership, and competition at the highest level her school offers.

A former Matt Paul Basketball camper herself, Finley understands the MP experience from the inside — what it feels like to put on the gear, represent the brand, and carry the "Develop. Compete. Lead." mindset onto the court.
